I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. Don’t get me wrong, Wisconsin probably has some beautiful places and I will ALWAYS love Chicago, but every time I go to Lake Travis I am blown away by the beauty. This is, seriously, a photographer’s paradise! I am excited to explore Austin and scout new locations to shoot.

I think I fall more and more in love with Austin every time I shoot a session. It’s a photographer’s paradise! I had the pleasure of photographing another beautiful family in Austin yesterday. And they just had a new member of the family join them a few hours before our photo shoot. Santa made a special early delivery and brought them the most adorable little bulldog puppy. I really couldn’t get enough of her!!! And these two boys were two of the most well handsome and well behaved boys I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. They made my job pretty easy!
Although it was a little cool yesterday (actually it’s been pretty darn cool all week), we were still able to get some great photos! Take a look…….

Wow, it’s December 1st and it was 70 degrees during my shoot today with the Evans family! Absolutely amazing! This beats shoveling snow ANYDAY! We had to dodge a few windy/rainy days this week, but we got lucky today! And look how adorable this little guy is! I swear I have one of the best jobs ever!!

Wow….that’s all I can say about today’s engagement session. Beautiful weather, beautiful location, beautiful couple, and beautiful lighting! I’d say those are the perfect ingredients for an AWESOME engagement shoot. Austin has not let me down, so far, this month with the weather. I feel so blessed to be able to shoot outside like this in November! I think we hit like 75 degrees today. We just kept shooting and shooting. We shot so much that it was honestly very hard to come up with just a few favorites for a sneak peek. Sooo…..these guys get a bigger sneak peek than usual because….well, I just couldn’t help myself!!!!
