Wow, it’s December 1st and it was 70 degrees during my shoot today with the Evans family! Absolutely amazing! This beats shoveling snow ANYDAY! We had to dodge a few windy/rainy days this week, but we got lucky today! And look how adorable this little guy is! I swear I have one of the best jobs ever!!

How could I not love my job as a photographer when I get to work families like this? This is the Easley family and they have a little sweet angel, named Ava. We were lucky enough to sneak this session in between the rain showers yesterday (rare for Austin these days). We decided to do the shoot at the AMOA (Austin Museum of Art) and what a BEAUTIFUL place to use as a backdrop! One of the most exciting things about moving to Austin is meeting new, awesome clients and getting to explore and shoot at new locations (which there are a TON in Austin). I know I haven’t even scratched the surface of awesome photo spots here, but I’m like a kid in a candy store when I find a new photo location. Thank you, Anna, for telling me about this place.

I had the great pleasure of shooting a maternity session for Kathryn and Snoop today. I’ve been itching to get out and start shooting here in Austin and this was a great way to get started! We headed down to Zilker Park and took some photos right as the sun was setting! Sweet light + Awesome couple = GREAT photo shoot! Kathryn and Snoop, it was great to meet you today and I wish you the best of luck with your little guy who should make his appearance ANY day now. I hope you enjoy the photos, so far! Here is baby Quinn. Well, she’s not really a baby anymore. Look what a big girl she is. She is such a cutie and I had a blast at our shoot last weekend!

I had a blast doing this shoot. I have to admit, I was a little nervous and VERY excite to do this shoot. Baby J and W are a little older than what I typically shoot newborns at (they were 5 weeks old and I normally shoot them no later than 2 weeks old). So I was a little worried they would be as sleepy and I’ve never posed 2 babies at once. But, we got some great shots and had a blast doing so! Look how adorable they are!!!
